My first rensho of this basho and back down to 5-5 with the
clock ticking and three more wins needed out of five matches to
get KK.  It is a weird one today against an opponent I believe
is droning and who has a very similar lineup -- I could try to
match them and win in one place or I can try to outmaneuver
them.  I could very easily overthink myself... will be kicking
myself tomorrow.  I'm still leaning toward leaving my picks as
they were before I started thinking this hard about it.  Damned
if I do and damned if I don't change it now!

Ya know something?  I suck this basho.  So I guess I'll have to
make up for wins by producing long and meaningless comments. 
Ok, ladies and gentlemen.  Prepare for a long course of inane
babbling...

It has come to a crystallizing clarity that I need a woman.  Not
for the obvious reasons, though I'm all for those as well.  The
real reason is that I am completely without direction. 
Rudderless, as Jimmy Stewart said to June Allyson in "The Glen
Miller Story" 1953 Universal International Pictures
.

There's an old saying, "Behind every great man there is a
woman."  Now I'm not claiming to be a great man.  But I do have
some very good qualities and capabilities.  The thing I'm
lacking is the qualities represented by discipline, motivation,
ambition, and the like.  Think of it like this; I'm like a car
with a powerful engine but I have no steering mechanism.  I need
someone to keep me on course and give me an occasional kick
start.  The entire length of my life I've been this way but it's
become more pronounced in the last decade.  Between the health
problems and the life problems I'm about as motivated as a
rock.

Side note: I used to swim like a rock (i.e. sink straight to the
bottom) but the last couple of years I learned to swim with the
help of Kokuramarujo.  He never actually learned how to swim. 
He has just always been able to.  Ok, back to the main rant.

At this point in my life I have little and am on the road to
having less.  But if I had this one missing piece I would be
kicking some serious @$$ in no time.  With some help, I would
change my diet to something healthy (lately I'm living off on
hunks of pepperoni and extra sharp cheddar cheese) and get some
exercise.  This would improve my health dilemmas, especially the
chronic pain.  And it would greatly assist in overcoming my
synaptic misswireing.  

Turns out it's very probable that all my life I have been
dealing with an Autism Spectrum Disorder along the lines of
Asberger's Syndrome .  While
it would have been helpful to know this when I was younger,
knowing it now still gives me the chance of rebuilding my life
and avoiding the pitfalls and speed bumps I've had to blindly
bulldog through these last 45 years.

But how would I convince a woman that all of this potential and
reward could be attained if she'd be willing to put some
investment up front to get me back into physical and mental
shape?  Ay, there's the rub.  If I were amazingly handsome I'd
have a small chance.  If I were wealthy I'd have to beat the
women off with a stick.  And yes, I know that women aren't all
out for money.  But they sure don't give to much of a chance if
you don't have any (said the cynical Bench Rikishi).  

So, in conclusion, this has nothing whatsoever to do with Bench
Sumo.  It doesn't even have much to do with anything else.  Just
my stream of conciousness wandering all over the top topic in my
head when I started writing this.  If I'd have waited a few
minutes I'd be writing about how fine Christina Ricci
 is because I finally got a
chance to see "Black Snake Moan" 2007 Paramount Classics
.  Damn she's HOT!!!

It's always hard to see how Kotooshu can lose against
Miyabiyama.
All he really has to do is either move around a bit or just use
his long arms.
As long he doesn't stand still everything should be just fine,
so considering if Hakuho will ever lose this basho it will
probably be tomorrow, Osh makes his debut at the top spot. Don't
let me down! I'm in the yusho race!

Other than that overall the bouts look very close and this is
easily the least I've liked my linup for several days.
